Wanted to read If I Stay because it reminded me of The Lovely Bones, which I ADORED even though it caused soul-destroying angst. The book also reminded me of a movie called "Stay," with Ewan McGregor (who I also ADORE), which was also sad and bittersweet and weird. Um, yes. Liking it so far, already twinged some heartstrings, and it's super short! It's like not even 200 pgs!

I, too, love the cello. The sound is so beautiful and rich. Alas, I became a flutist (and zither-ist?).Krispyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09492607213249874138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119162506009432262.post-58116331974139963162010-03-24T20:11:04.010-07:002010-03-24T20:11:04.010-07:00If I Stay is definitely on my to-read list. One of my favorites in this genre (dear God, I read so many death books that it's officially a genre now?!) is Before I Die by Jenny Downham. Also, if the main character is a cellist, I'm already drawn to it, because I love the cello, even though I didn't choose it as my instrument all those years ago (stupid me!).XiXihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05364953168828471897noreply@blogger.com
